ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO LOCK THEIR CELLPHONES AND EARBUDS/HEADPHONES IN THE YONDRS WHILE ON CAMPUS!!!
PHONE CONFISCATION POLICY
Approved by PBIS on October 7, 2025
If a student is found with a phone anywhere on campus:
- 1st offense - student puts the device in the YONDR pouch. Teacher or staff makes contact with parent. Yondr pouch with Phone will be confiscated for student after-school pick-up at 3:50 PM.
- 2nd offense - student is referred to a counselor. The phone is confiscated for parent after-school pick- up at 3:50. Students are given 5 Campus Service hours and parents are notified by counselor.
- Third offense - student will see the Dean, and the phone will be confiscated for parent pick-up ONLY. Student is given 10 Campus Service hours and parent is notified.
- If the violation continues, parent conference and referral to the supervising administrator for the department. Cell phone needs to be turned in daily to Dean/Administrator.
Any confiscated phones will be stored securely in the main office.
Students caught with a demagnetizer and/or demagnetizing other students' YONDR pouches, will meet with the dean and be assigned up to 20 hours of campus service.
ANY DAMAGED OR LOST YONDR IS SUBJECT TO A $30.00 REPLACEMENT FEE.
If you are found with a damaged Yondr, it will be collected, and a $30.00 fine will be added to your record.
You need to pay the fine at the student store, then bring the white receipt to the Dean's office to remove the fine from your records.
