After years without a parent volunteer organization, Marshall’s newly-formed PTSA is delighted to announce its inaugural fundraiser to support the students of John Marshall High School.
As a public school, Marshall provides our children with education and experience that relies on funding from LAUSD. A state budget crunch that has slashed the education budget by roughly $500 million is impacting our classroom resources, enrichment programs, athletics, and extracurricular activities.
Your donations will help bridge the gap between what LAUSD apportions to Marshall and what our school can offer its students. Our hope is to be able to provide our children an education that keeps pace with evolving educational standards and technological advancements as well as an enriching experience that fosters creativity, motivation and personal growth – and we cannot do it without your assistance.
We are striving to raise a total of $50,000 in the next 30 days. It might sound like a lot, but if every family contributed $25, we would meet that goal. No gift is too small – we are grateful for your support!
